Company

"Nature et Poesie" is the line of home and gift accessories manufactured and distributed by Le Soleil Inc., a company founded by French designer Estelle Billot and based in New York City.

Designer

Estelle Billot grew up in Burgundy (France) and studied business and marketing in Paris. In 1992 she moved to the states and in 1995 she created Nature et Poesie, her line of home and gift accessories and founded Le Soleil Inc.

Estelle's inspiration is her French Heritage, the souvenirs of the South of France, the colors of Matisse, the poetry of her childhood. She likes designs that “make your heart beat faster”, because they transport you to a happy place or invite you to a totally new world. Estelle's role model is Nature who knows exactly how to mix simplicity and quality with the right dose of unexpected shapes and colors.

Estelle lives in the West Village with her new American husband who enjoys (like so many people) making fun of her French accent.

Each product is designed by Estelle Billot and inspired by her French heritage, her travels and experiences.

Our products are handmade with love and care by our in-house production team and submitted to a thorough quality control process. Should you be dissatisfied with our quality, call us within 7 days of receipt of the order for a written exchange authorization.

We use environmentally friendly products and natural materials as often as possible (100% European linen, Dupione silk, natural French lavender, water-based inks for silk-screening, recyclable packaging). We believe in creating beautiful products while keeping our planet beautiful.

Our line has sold in department stores (Barney's, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus), catalogs (Tweeds, Sundance, Target), major retailers (Victoria's Secret, Eddie Bauer, Anthropology, BCBG, Crabtree & Evelyn...) and boutiques worldwide (USA, Canada, Asia, Europe). Estelle Billot's designs have also been customized as promotional items for major hotels and museum shops as well as companies like Amex, Elle, Elizabeth Arden, Mary Kay, Oscar de la Renta, Unapix, etc...
